The Barat Education Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2014 Our American Voice® Summit for participants in the greater Chicago area will be held on Tuesday, June 10 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the UIC Forum, 725 S. Roosevelt Road in Chicago. The Our American Voice® program is an in-school/after-school project based learning program that links American history, government and civics to educate, engage and empower middle-grade students to become participative citizens in their communities. Students from the 18 participating schools in the Chicago area will meet to celebrate their successes in creating positive change in their communities.
